Dana M. Considine concentrates her practice in family law, civil litigation, criminal law, and municipal work. Mrs. Considine represents businesses and individuals in a variety of matters, including divorce, custody and child support, adoptions, guardianships, collection, and evictions. Mrs. Considine has been licensed to practice in the State of Illinois since 2003. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Illinois, Lee County, and Ogle County Bar Associations. Mrs. Considine joined the Firm in 2003 and was named a partner in April 2009.
Mrs. Considine has authored an article for the Illinois Real Property Newsletter entitled “Expansion of the Transfer Tax.” Mrs. Considine attended Drake University, where she was a member of the Dean’s List. While at Drake, Mrs. Considine was a member of Delta Theta Phi Law Fraternity and served as the Drake Law Women Treasurer. She also interned with Iowa State Senator Matthew McCoy and participated in the Drake Legal Clinic by representing criminal defendants in Polk County, Iowa Circuit Court. Mrs. Considine obtained her Bachelor of Business degree from the Western Illinois University in 2000.
Mrs. Considine is currently a director of Dixon Habitat for Humanity, Inc., and director of the Dixon Area Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She also serves as director of the Lee County United Way and Treasurer of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 453. Mrs. Considine also has served as a member of the Amboy Education Foundation, as a director of the University of Illinois Extension Council, and as Secretary of the Lee County Democratic Central Committee. She also has volunteered as the Chair of the Legal Division of the United Way campaign and participated as an instructor in the Junior Achievement program. |
