About Darla

Darla A. Foulker concentrates her practice in family law, including, but not limited to, divorce, custody, parenting time, child support, guardianship and adoption cases. She represents clients in Lee, Ogle, and Whiteside County.

Mrs. Foulker graduated magna cum laude from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English in 2000. In 2003, Mrs. Foulker graduated from the Northern Illinois University College of Law, finishing fourth in her class. While in law school, she was an active member of the Public Interest Law Society and the Women's Law Caucus. Mrs. Foulker joined Ehrmann Gehlbach Badger & Considine, LLC, in 2011 after practicing for seven years with Ward & Ward Attorneys at Law in Dixon. She has been admitted to practice law in Illinois since 2003.

Mrs. Foulker is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Lee County, Ogle County, and Whiteside County Bar Associations. Mrs. Foulker has co-authored articles that have appeared in the Illinois State Bar Association's Family Law, General Practice, and Commercial, Banking, and Bankruptcy Law Section newsletters. She sits on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Lee County and Open Sesame Children’s Learning Center, Inc., and is the attorney for the Board of Directors for the Lee County Council on Aging, Inc. In 2016, Mrs. Foulker was selected by the Dixon Area Chamber of Commerce as a recipient of the “4 under 40” award, recognizing four individuals under the age of 40 for their career achievements and impact on the community. Based upon a survey of her peers, Mrs. Foulker was also named an Emerging Lawyer, designated to the top 2% of lawyers under 40 years old or practicing less than 10 years in both 2017 and again in 2019.
